Nathan Herrmann

I am a fourth year accounting PhD student at the University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business. My current research focuses on securities enforcement and corporate governance. I also am interested in questions related to financial accounting and disclosure. My research is primarily conducted using archival methods. In my research, I seek to provide evidence that informs the public and is of practical value to policymakers, firms, and other researchers. 

Prior to returning to school for my PhD, I worked as a CPA for three years at KPMG in Denver, Colorado. I audited both public and private firms, primarily in the financial services sector. I hold a B.S. and M.S. in Accounting from Oklahoma State University.
